OK — been using this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me last week. I’m in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
The reason I started using it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way return actually was once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and get a shock. These days I type the odds in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and you get profit and total return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There’s also the fiddly ones — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where I’d always mess it up. If you want a look, it lives at kelly criterion and it’s free with no account nonsense.
The thing that actually shifted things for me were the more serious bits. The odds-to-probability calculator which shows you the overround, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.
It’s not perfect mind. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but you asked.
So yeah. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a load of «wait, that’s it?» moments.

OK — have been messing about with this thing for something like five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was actually a bit daft — I never could get my head round what an ew payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even the boring singles.
Their single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — you drop in stake and odds and it shows returns with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, and that’s where most people I know mess it up. Have a go yourself, it lives at free bet matched betting calculator — free, no signup.
The thing that genuinely made a difference is the more serious tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.
It’s not perfect mind. Its layout is a bit basic — not much polish, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s usable though the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who still adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me plenty of «wait, that’s it?» moments.
Will be coming back to this for sure, too much good content to absorb in one sitting, and a stop at pelixotrustco only added more pages I want to dig through, this site is going onto my regular rotation list because it consistently delivers something worth the visit lately rather than empty filler.

OK — been on this thing for something like four months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since a mate asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
How I found it was genuinely pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever work out what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you put in stake and odds and you get returns with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at calculate lucky 63 and it’s free with no account nonsense.
One thing that actually shifted things for me is the more serious bits. There’s an odds-to-probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. Its layout is a bit basic — zero flash, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine though the acca grid are a squeeze. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.
So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does what it says. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, try it — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.

What got me on it was actually a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way payout actually came to when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and get a shock. Now I type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

If you fancy a poke about, it’s here ew single — free, no signup.
What actually shifted things for me were the more serious tools. There’s an probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. The layout is pretty plain — not much flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And no app, it’s browser only — fine by me but worth saying.
Anyway. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who still works out returns on a calculator app, try it — it’s saved me a load of «wait, that’s it?» moments.

Same tool covers the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, and that’s where I’d always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it lives at ew lucky 15 calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.
